(Source: CBS 5 News) Traffic was backed up about four miles, from the car fire at the U.S. 60 interchange to almost Ray Road.
PHOENIX (CBS5) -
A car fire on northbound Loop 101 Price Freeway near the U.S. 60 interchange caused a massive traffic slowdown Monday morning.
The fire about 7 a.m. was in addition to a crash on the same freeway further south at Ray Road, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
Traffic was backed up about 4 miles, from the car fire to almost Ray Road, but all northbound lanes were open again about 8 a.m. Traffic remained backed up for almost 4 miles.
No other information was immediately available.
