PHOENIX (CBS5) -
Authorities say the suspect in a Phoenix hit-and-run was caught a few blocks from the scene on Friday.
Phoenix police said a 27-year-old man was driving a black Ford Explorer when hit a woman near 22nd Avenue and Northern late Friday morning and took off. He was caught a short time later at Interstate 17 and Northern.
The 37-year-old victim is in extremely critical condition, according to police.
No other details were immediately available.
