HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) -
A Hartford man was arrested Saturday for allegedly robbing a Subway restaurant at gunpoint.
Police responded to the Farmington Avenue restaurant after a man brandished a handgun and demanded money.
An employee was restrained while a gun was pointed at their head as the man took cash from the register. He then fled from the restaurant.
Police then found a man who fit the description of the suspect shortly after. He was carrying the cash from the robbery and a silver handgun.
Shortly after, police arrested Darin Green who fit the description of the suspect. He also was carrying the cash from the robbery and a silver handgun.
Darin Green, 35, is facing several charges including robbery in the first degree, criminal possession of a firearm and assault in the third degree.
An employee suffered a minor injury while being restrained by the suspect.
Green is being held on 500,000 surety bond.
