Route 101 in Killingly has reopened following a standoff with a suicidal man early Monday morning.
Connecticut State Police Lt. Paul Vance said officers were called to the home on Route 101 around 2 a.m.
According to state police, troopers spoke with the man's family and they told troopers that the unidentified man was having suicidal thoughts and was in possession of numerous firearms. Due to that information, troopers from Troop D in Danielson set up a perimeter and the Connecticut State Police Emergency Service Unit responded to the scene.
After four hours, the state police ESU brought the man into custody without injury.
Charges are pending against the man, but details on what charges he is facing has not been released.
