Free flu shots offered in Milford

MILFORD, CT (WFSB) -

Dozens of people headed to a free flu shot clinic in Milford Thursday morning in an effort to fight off their chances of getting the flu.

Norwalk Hospital and STAR 99.9 teamed up to offer free flu shots at STAR 99.9's building on Wheelers Farm Road.

The flu shots will be administered until 2 p.m. or until supplies last.

Earlier this week, the group handed out hand sanitizer to the local community and said they wanted to do anything they can do to help prevent people from getting sick.
