CV Surgeon, the CV and career expert, has updated their Facebook page in a bid to further support their online followers.
London, United Kingdom (PRWEB) January 19, 2013
CV Surgeon, the CV and career expert, has updated its Facebook page and is now operating on a variety of online social media sites so that users can interact more easily and gain advice more efficiently.
CV Surgeon, who specialise in allowing users to create bespoke CV templates and gain CV advice, made the changes last week due to growing demand from customers. The Facebook page now boasts a header image, links to all the CV Surgeon social sites, video content and links to article and advice content.
Will Martin, Director, commented: “We have always traditionally been a site where users can register, create a CV, download and email it to employers. We have always had some advice on the site but with growing members and a large community we realised that there needed to be more interaction between the website and users and more advice available. We regularly receive emails from our members asking for advice on a range of topics and we felt one of the best ways to deliver this information to them was via social media. Facebook is the most popular social network site and so we felt we needed a presence on there – not only to interact with our current users but to support and offer advice to potential members and jobseekers. The Facebook page now has live links to all of our advice articles, video content, blogs and career interviews. As well as this, members can click through to the website and create their CV as normal so it’s been a real addition to our growing social media presence.”
As well as updating their Facebook page, the company has also made some changes to its other online platforms. The Twitter page, which has over 400 followers, sees a new image and more links to advice content. The You Tube channel, which has over 5,000 views, now hosts over 35 career based videos all designed to help job seekers improve their employment chances.
The video and article content hosted on the CV Surgeon ( http://www.cv-surgeon.co.uk/ ) site offers tips and advice on all aspects of job hunting – from looking for a job and updating your CV to attending a job interview and being happy in the workplace.
Martin added: “We feel that all of our advice content and videos are a great aid when it comes to writing a CV and applying for a job. Our users can now create a CV on the site and follow tips and watch interviews if they get stuck. It’s all designed to help them improve their CV writing and, ultimately, improve their job interview success rate. We plan to continue growing our online presence in the future and also have plans to create a new career based video series which will further support our members.”
