Route 82 in East Haddam reopens after bridge gets stuck

EAST HADDAM, CT (WFSB) -

The swing bridge along Route 82 in East Haddam has reopened after the bridge got stuck in open position, state police confirmed.

According to Department of Transportation officials, the bridge was reported to be stuck in "open position" just before 2:30 p.m.

However, the bridge reopened in a few hours after being fixed by DOT workers.
