Police scuba cold water training held Wednesday - WFSB 3 Connecticut

The Bridgeport Police Department Dive Team is no doubt in for some rough training Wednesday as they head into Long Island Sound to prepare for any emergency that may arise.
Police acknowledge that emergencies happen at a moment's notice and rarely happen at convenient times, so the scuba team trains year-round to be prepared to respond to rescues in any weather condition - including frigid temperatures.
The training started around 8 a.m. and is expected to last most of the day.
