DANBURY, CT (WFSB) -

Officials from the Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board are continuing to investigate a plane that crashed in Danbury Tuesday night.

A single-engine Cirrus SR20 departed from Groton at about 6 p.m. and was headed to Danbury Municipal Airport, according to FAA officials. The plane crashed on South Street at about 7:30 p.m.

Three people, two men and one woman, were on the plane, but none of them were seriously injured. Their names were not released Wednesday afternoon.

The cause of the crash has not been determined yet, but a parachute on the plane was used to stop the fall.
