PHOENIX (CBS5) -

After two straight days with record high temperatures, changes are on the way for Arizona.

A storm system will move in from the southwest as opposed to the north, meaning temperatures will remain mild, but clouds will continue to increase Thursday, and scattered sprinkles could continue to develop as they did Thursday morning.

There will be a better chance of rain between Friday evening and the first half of Saturday.

The Valley will be in between systems on Sunday as a colder system from the north moves in for Monday.

That will bring cooler temperatures, a better chance for showers, and windy conditions. The system slowly exits on Tuesday, and the rest of the week looks dry.

Snow levels with this first system will be quite high, generally above 8,500 feet, but dropping to 4,000 feet with Monday's disturbance.
