Family displaced after house fire in East Hartford

EAST HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) -

No one was injured after a house fire on Central Avenue in East Hartford Thursday night.

However, the family was displaced, according to fire officials.

The fire started before 5:30 p.m. and was knocked down quickly, officials said.

The cold weather did play a factor in putting out the fire.

The cause of the fire is under investigation by the East Hartford fire marshal's office.
