A New Britain man wanted in connection with a Hartford homicide was arrested in Massachusetts Thursday.
Police arrested Doel Francisco Candelario, 26, in Lawrence, MA and was charged with murder, criminal possession of a firearm and unlawful discharge of a firearm.
According to police, Jimmy Narvaez was found suffering from a gunshot wound to the back of the head at 601 Broad St. during the early morning hours of July 20, 2012. Narvaez was transported to an area hospital where he died a short time later.
Narvaez-Gonzalez is being held on $1.5 million bond and is in the custody of the Hartford Fugitive Task Force waiting for extradition.
Police told The Eagle-Tribune that a .22 caliber firearm used in the murder has still not been recovered.
