Georgia Lottery officials say the jackpot for Saturday's Powerball drawing has reached an estimated $130 million.
In a statement, Georgia Lottery spokeswoman Kimberly Starks says two players won $10,000 in Wednesday's drawing after buying tickets at a Circle K store in Martinez -- northwest of Augusta -- and a 7-Eleven on Tybee Island.
Georgia Lotto officials say the Powerball winner can choose between the $130 million jackpot being paid out over a 29-year period, or the cash option, which is about $83 million.
Proceeds from $2 Powerball ticket sales fund the HOPE Scholarship program and pre-kindergarten programs in the state.

I first saw the headline early Tuesday on Real Clear Politics, a political news site where I generally start my morning. It's not where I expect to see a story on breast cancer.
