Vernon police said a woman they arrested Monday for robbing an adult store was found with more than 40 bags of heroin during a search.
Police said 20-year-old Angela Jordan entered Luv Express, an adult store, on Windsor Avenue around 9:45 p.m. Monday armed with a knife and demanded money from the employee working there.
Vernon police, with the assistance of the East Hartford K-9 team, were able to locate Jordan on West Street a short time later. During the arrest, police said, Jordan was found to be in possession of 43 bags of heroin.
She was charged with first-degree robbery, possession of narcotics and carrying a dangerous weapon.
Jordan is being held on a $100,000 bond and is due in Rockville Superior Court on Tuesday.
