Suffield residents no longer have to boil tap water as a precautionary measure after test results confirmed the water is safe Thursday afternoon.
Connecticut Water officials issued the boil water advisory after a water main break was reported in Enfield near the Route 190 bridge early Wednesday morning.
As a result of the break, officials said about 1,000 customers in Suffield reported little to no water pressure.
Officials said because of the low pressure, bacteria could have made its way into the water system.
