New Haven grandmother attacked, robbed

NEW HAVEN, CT (WFSB) -

A grandmother in New Haven is recovering Friday morning after police said she was attacked by two men last weekend.

Police have been looking for the people responsible for the attack ever since.

Debra Russo said she was attacked by two men outside the Goodfellas restaurant on the corner of State and Trumbull streets.

According to police, the men got away with several items and money.

Russo said she now needs plastic surgery for an injury to her arm after it was slashed.
