New information has been learned in regards to abuse and sexual assault claims involving a couple from Glastonbury and their nine adopted children.
The Office of the Victim Advocate is now conducting a formal investigation.
George Harasz and Douglas Wirth took plea deals last month that will allow them to avoid jail time.
They were both arrested in November 2011.
The state victim advocate is concerned the young victims did not receive assistance after the arrests.
The nine children were placed in foster care.
