CROMWELL, CT (WFSB) -

Police in Cromwell are looking for a man who they say robbed a Dairy Plus convenience store on West Street.

They say it happened around 9 p.m. Friday night.  A man pointed a gun at the clerk, and then tied his hands together with zip ties. The man then moved the clerk to a rear storage room, had him lay down and put a trash can over his head.

The suspect later cut the zip ties.  He left with an undetermined amount of cash.  They say he also cut the wires to the security system at the store and took the DVD system.

The man is described to be about 6 ft. tall, weighing about 220 lbs.

Anyone with information is asked to call Cromwell Police.
