Sources told Eyewitness News that they believe that a man found dead along some railroad tracks in Bristol Sunday morning died as a result of suicide.
The discovery of the body of a 32-year-old homeless man was made around 11:30 a.m. on Prospect Street, police said, by someone walking along some railroad tracks, who immediately called 911.
The tracks sit near the back side of some homes and an apartment building.
Following an autopsy by the Chief Medical Examiners Office, it was determined that the unidentified man died of self-inflicted injuries.
There is a positive identification of the man, but it has not been released pending the notification of the man's family, which lives out of state.
