UHart grad dies while working on cruise ship

HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) -

A University of Hartford graduate has died while working on a cruise ship in Australia.

A spokesman for the university told Eyewitness News that 24-year-old Jackie Kastrinelis died over the weekend while working as an entertainer on the ship.

Kastrinelis was a graduate of The Hartt School she received a bachelor's degree in fine arts.

She was also a member of the school's student-run TV station and worked as a resident assistant.
