State trooper bit by dog

DURHAM, CT (WFSB) -

There were some scary moments for a Connecticut State Police Trooper after he was bit by a dog.

The incident occurred at a home on Foot Hills Road in Durham around 8 a.m.

Officials said the officer was conducting a neighborhood canvas when the dog came out and bit him.

The officer only received a minor injury, and the dog was returned to its owner.
