BUENA VISTA TOWNSHIP, MI (WNEM) -
A grandfather and his grandchild were shot Tuesday evening in Buena Vista Township.
Both are recovering at the hospital. The child is believed to be just 5-years old.
The shooting happened around 8:30 p.m. in the area of 23rd and Baldwin streets, just east of Dixie Highway.
Their injuries are being described as non-life-threatening.
A police dog was used to help track the suspect.
