Man accused of animal cruelty to appear in court

ENFIELD, CT (WFSB) -

A man from Enfield facing several animal cruelty charges is set to face a judge Thursday.

Police said 54-year-old John Lake was involved in the shooting death of three beagles while on a hunting trip in November.

He faces several charges including cruelty to animals, risk of injury to a minor and illegal hunting.
