NAUGATUCK, CT (WFSB) -

Police said a tanker carrying fuel misjudged a turn and left the roadway partially Thursday.

According to Naugatuck police, the tanker veered off the road near the intersection of Rubber Avenue and Neumann Street as it attempted to turn in to Mount View Plaza.

The trailer was suspended over a small brook, however, no fuel was spilled. Police expect the road to be closed for several hours as the fuel is offloaded from the tanker and the truck righted.
