Car fire closes I-84 in Danbury

DANBURY, CT (WFSB) -

Interstate 84 was closed in Danbury on Monday morning after a car fire was reported.

According to the Connecticut Department of Transportation, I-84 was closed eastbound between exits 8 and 9.

It's unknown how long the interstate would be closed, or if anyone has been injured.

No other information was released.
