Flooding closes portion of Interstate 91 in Hartford

HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) -

The southbound lanes of Interstate 91 near Exits 29A and 27 in Hartford were closed because of flooding.

The highway in the area is expected to closed for at least two hours, while crews get rid of the water, the Connecticut Department of Transportation said.

Drivers are being advised to avoid the area.
