The Connecticut State Police arrested two people in connection with a bank robbery near Route 63 in Woodbridge on Wednesday morning.
Troopers were called to the Citizens Bank on Amity Road just before 9:30 a.m. after two people took an undisclosed amount of money.
It does not appear that anyone was injured during the bank robbery.
Police conducted a search of the surrounding area and discovered that the suspects left the area in a silver Subaru station wagon.
A police broadcast was sent out to neighboring departments and officers located the vehicle in New Haven near the intersection of Whalley Avenue and Fitch Street.
Jason Carasone, 39, of West Haven and Katie Walkley, 31, of Milford were arrested.
Carasone was charged with second-degree robbery, third-degree larceny, second-degree conspiracy to commit robbery and third-degree conspiracy to commit larceny. He is being held on a $500,000 bond.
Walkley was charged with second-degree conspiracy to commit robbery and third-degree conspiracy to commit larceny. She is being held on a $300,000 bond.
Carasone and Walkley are expected to be arraigned at New Haven Superior Court on Thursday.
