Driver crashes into 2 cars in Middletown, flees scene

MIDDLETOWN, CT (WFSB) -

Sources told Eyewitness News that police have stopped a motor vehicle on Route 9 after it crashed into two cars in Middletown Wednesday evening.

The driver hit a car on Main Street Extension and then, crashed into another vehicle in the area of Williams Street, sources told Eyewitness News

The car was stopped on Route 9 southbound near Exit 11.

Officers interviewed the driver and arrested the individual.

No one was seriously injured in either crash, sources said.
