Portland students head back to school

PORTLAND, CT (WFSB) -

Students in Portland are heading back to school in an effort to make up days lost during Blizzard Charlotte.

Schools in Portland had to cancel winter break to make up for the lost time.

Many schools across the state are closed for Presidents Day.
