Injury accident closes Meridian Road in Midland County

MIDLAND COUNTY, MI (WNEM) -

Meridian Road is closed at Chippewa River Road because of an injury accident.

The crash happened at around 11 a.m. Monday.

WNEM has not received word of the extent of injuries sustained in the crash or how many vehicles are involved.

There is also no word as to when the roadway will reopen.

Alternate routes when traveling in the area are South Homer Road or South 8 Mile Road for north and southbound commuters.

WNEM will continue to follow this story and will provide updates when new information becomes available.
