A power outage forced school officials in Bolton to dismiss students early from a local school.
The Bolton Center School is dismissing students at 1 p.m. All afternoon activities including pre-kindergarten and kindergarten classes were also canceled.
The outage was caused by a transformer blown.
Officials from the Connecticut Department of Energy & Environmental Protection are on the scene of the outage.
