CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -
Most of the Tri-state saw an icy mix overnight, leaving us with slick side streets and sidewalks.
Interstates and main highways have been treated, and are fine. You can track your morning commute with our traffic tracker by clicking here.
Temperatures will hover around the freezing mark this morning, with an isolated mix of sleet/freezing rain through the early morning. Temperatures will quickly climb through the morning however, and the icy mixture will quickly change over to rain for the remainder of the morning.
There is also a large power outage in Boone County. At one time, Duke Energy was reporting about 6,300 customers without power.
The good news is that temperatures will rise this afternoon to about 50 degrees. A winter weather advisory is still in effect for our northern counties.
High pressure will slowly build in tonight, leaving us with clearing skies and a low around 32. Look for mostly sunny skies for both Saturday and Sunday with highs in the low to mid 40s.
