Three people were arrested in connection with a deadly stabbing that occurred in East Hartford early Wednesday morning.
Police said they were called to the Plain Drive neighborhood around 1 a.m. after reports of a man getting stabbed.
Officers said Luis J. Lopez, 27, was taken by ambulance to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Officers spent Wednesday morning taking photos, towing a car from the scene, and at one point left the home with what appeared to be a bag of baseball bats. It is not known if the car towed from the scene was involved in the crime.
"I have three children, I'm scared," said one East Hartford resident, who wished not to be identified.
Isiah Jones, 20, Kristopher Pryce, 20, and Daquan Williams, 19, were arrested Wednesday in connection with the crime.
Police said the three suspects were familiar with Lopez.
All three were charged with conspiracy to murder, attempted home invasion and breach of peace. Williams is the lone suspect also facing a charge of murder.
The three suspects will be arraigned at Superior Court in Manchester Thursday morning and are being held on $1 million bonds.
