Man accused of beating woman to face judge - WFSB 3 Connecticut

A man accused of brutally beating a woman in Hartford last month is set to face a judge.
Police said 22-year-old Jeffrey Acosta struck a woman in the head with a brick on James Street in January.
The victim suffered critical injuries from the attack, but police said they expect her to recover.
Acosta has been charged with first-degree assault.
Police said it appears as though this incident was drug-related.
