WINDSOR, CT (WFSB) -

The Windsor Police Department is asking for the public's help locating a 31-year-old man, who they believe shot at a motel in town in late February.

According to police, Jose Mario Restrepo was involved in a shooting at the Flamingo Inn on Windsor Avenue on the night of Feb. 24.

Several shots were fired from a pistol into the room, but no one was inside at the time. The weapon used in the incident was never recovered, police said.

Police said there is damage to the room, however it is unclear how much damage was done or the cost of repairs.

Restrepo, who is being considered armed and dangerous, is expected to be charged with unlawful discharge of firearm, criminal possession of pistol, carrying without permit, and breach of peace.

The incident remains under investigation and anyone with any information is asked to call the Windsor Police Department at 860-688-5273.
