6-car crash causes traffic backup on I-84 in West Hartford

WEST HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) -

A crash involving six cars is causing a traffic jam on Interstate 84 in West Hartford on Monday afternoon.

The only one lane is open westbound near Exits 44 and 43.

It is unclear if anyone was seriously injured in the crash.

The cause is under investigation by state police.
