AVON, CT (WFSB) -
A school bus was involved in a multiple-car crash in Avon Wednesday afternoon.
Few details about the crash have been released, but school officials said it occurred on Country Club Road near the intersection of Stagecoach Road around 3:45 p.m.
There were three students on the school bus at the time of the crash, however none of them were seriously injured.
The driver of the bus was taken to area hospital with minor injures. The drivers of the other motor vehicles involved in the crash were not seriously injured.
The superintendent of schools went to the crash scene.
No other information was released.
