WETHERSFIELD, CT (WFSB) -
Three people have been forced from their home after an overnight fire in Wethersfield.
It happened just after midnight on Saturday at an apartment on Emerson Street.
Officials said crews could see flames and smoke coming from the second-floor apartment.
Everyone inside the apartment was able to get out safely, and no one was hurt in fire.
Fire officials told Eyewitness News that the fire was knocked down quickly, but the apartment sustained some damage from the fire.
At this point, the Wethersfield Fire Marshal's office is investigating the exact cause of the fire.
