ECSU to hold memorial service for Victoria Soto

WILLIMANTIC, CT (WFSB) -

Students and staff at Eastern Connecticut State University are planning to hold a memorial service to honor Victoria Soto, who graduated from the school in 2008.

Soto was killed while working as a teacher at Sandy Hook Elementary School in December, along with five other school staff members and 20 students.

The service is scheduled to be held in the Betty R. Tipton Room of the Student Center at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
