Two Peter Pan buses stopped after reports of bomb threats

SPRINGFIELD, MA (WSHM) -

Two Peter Pan buses were stopped and evacuated because of bomb threats.

State police told CBS 3 one bus was in the westbound lane in Chicopee on the Mass Turnpike when it was pulled over and searched this afternoon.

The other was stopped on Interstate 95 in Rhode Island and also searched.

No bomb was found on either bus. Passengers were delayed for 45 minutes to an hour.

State police continue to investigate on who exactly issued the bomb threat.
