Police investigate late-night stabbing in Meriden

MERIDEN, CT (WFSB) -

Police in Meriden are investigating a late-night stabbing that sent one person to the hospital.

It happened just before 11:30 p.m. Saturday night in the area of 35 Hillside Avenue.

According to police, three black or Hispanic men jumped the victim, resulting in an altercation.

The victim was transported to MidState Medical Center for non-life threatening stab wounds.

At this point, police said they have not made any arrests.

The investigation remains ongoing.
