Fire at Andover home extinguished

ANDOVER, CT (WFSB) -

Emergency officials in Andover said they worked to extinguish a fire that broke out at a home on School Road on Monday morning.

Few details have been released, but according to Tolland County Dispatch, the fire broke out around 10 a.m. and there were reports that people were trapped inside the building.

When our crew arrived at the scene, ambulances were seen in the area before bringing one person to a local hospital to be treated for injuries.

The severity of those injuries is unknown.

The fire was brought under control and extinguished a short time after crews arrived at the scene.

No other information was released.

The fire remains under investigation.
