PD: Corrections officer arrested for attacking police officer

HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) -

Police sources told Eyewitness News a Connecticut corrections officer is accused of assaulting a Manchester police officer at Union Station in Hartford over the weekend.

Sources said Jason Beaudry, 33, of South Windsor was arrested Saturday and charged with third-degree robbery, second-degree larceny and third-degree assault.

Police said Beaudry was found in possession of a stolen wallet.

He is being held on $100,000 bond.

The Hartford Major Crimes Division is investigating the incident.
