A tractor trailer crash in Tolland on Interstate 84 east is causing a traffic backup.
The crash was reported around 4:30 a.m. on I-84 east between exits 67 and 68.
Officials from the Tolland Fire Department said two lanes have been closed on the interstate to allow emergency workers time to clear the scene of the crash.
A wrecker company is also at the scene working to remove the vehicle, which ended up facing the wrong direction following the crash. However, that work could not be completed until fuel was removed from the tractor trailers tanks.
It's unknown how long it will take to remove the truck from the road.
