
Stuffed Cabbage Casserole
Ingredients:
1lb lean ground beef
1lb lean ground pork
1 cabbage
2 cans condensed tomato soup (may substitute marinara sauce)
1 cup uncooked white rice
salt and pepper
Directions:
Cook rice and set aside to cool
Shred cabbage and set aside
mix ground beef, ground pork, cooked rice and salt and pepper to taste, and set aside
Layer a baking dish (9x11) with 1/2 of the shredded cabbage, 1/2 meat and rice mixture then 1 can of condensed soup.
repeat layering again with all three ingredients.
Cover and cook at 350* for 1 hour. Let rest on stove top for another 20 minutes.
Cut and serve like lasagna!
