Fire reported at Bliss Market in Wethersfield

WETHERSFIELD, CT (WFSB) -

A kitchen fire was reported at a local grocery store in Wethersfield Monday night.

Firefighters were called to a kitchen fire at Bliss Market on Wolcott Hill Road sometime about 5:30 p.m. Upon arrival, fire and smoke were coming from the building, officials said.

There were no reported injures, fire officials said.

The fire was knocked down quickly.

Wolcott Hill Road in the area of Bliss Market was closed during the investigation.

The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Wethersfield Fire Marshal's Office.

Bliss Market was started more than 60 years and moved to Wethersfield in 1965, according to its website.
