The Farmington Police Department said they arrested a Waterbury man who was found in a van with a 13-year-old girl whom he had met online.
According to police, a van with no lights on was parked on Litchfield Road and Birch Street intersection about 6:30 p.m. Monday.
Inside the van, officers discovered Christopher Cantley, 29, and the teenager.
Cantley was arrested and charged with fourth-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a minor.
He was being held on a $75,000 and was expected to be arraigned in Hartford Superior Court Tuesday.
