OWOSSO TOWNSHIP, MI (WNEM) -
A man cutting trees at the Owosso Country Club in Owosso Township was trapped in freezing conditions under a tree overnight after a log fell on him.
Officials found the 68-year-old man alert and conscious despite the frigid conditions at around 7:30 a.m. Wednesday morning.
Temperatures chilled down to 19 degrees overnight.
The man, who was a member of the country club, was taken to Hurley Medical Center in Flint where he continues to recover from his injuries.
The Owosso Country Club is near the intersection of M-52 and West Juddville Road.
