Bristol man accused of stealing donation box at gas station

FARMINGTON, CT (WFSB) -

Farmington police arrested a man they said stole a charity donation box from a gas station last fall.

Police arrested 36-year-old Eric Mitchell, of Bristol, and charged him with larceny after an investigation into the theft from the Exxon gas station on Colt Highway on Oct. 22.

A warrant was issued for Mitchell and he was arrested Tuesday.

He was held on $5,000 bond.
