TEMPE, AZ (CBS5) -
Tempe Police have re-opened University Drive in both directions after a car-pedestrian collision just east of Price Road near the Loop 101.
A westbound vehicle struck the pedestrian mid-block around 5 a.m. Wednesday, according to Tempe Police Sgt. Mike Pooley.
The pedestrian was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries, Pooley said. He said the driver was not impaired.
